September 29-Tuesday, we came to the Cainta Municipal Hall at around 1PM and the people are lined up waiting for the relief goods distribution. Outside there was the "tawag center" which our our colleagues put up earlier that day. They give free IDD and local calls to typhoon and flood victims. at the other side was the medical mission team, also set up by our company. The scene is indescribable. I have a sort of mixed feelings towards what I was witnessing. later on- we transferred to San Mateo where no other relief operation has been put up since the typhoon last Saturday. Everything I saw there was earth-colored. People, street, vehicles and houses were all brown, except the municipal hall. we set up the "tawag center" as an initial operation then the next day another group will put up the medical mission. One important lesson for me is that, no matter how much preparations you do for difficult times-you will not be prepared enough. It will always be the Lord and your fellows whom you built good relationships with who will be there as your best Emergency tool.
