we were blessed by the Queen in Manaoag

October 4-Sunday, we took the 10:45am bus off to Manaoag. The 5 to 6 hour journey withe 3 stop overs is a little bit shorter than we expected. Maybe, some people did not want to go out yet due to the series of typhoon. Another one is hitting the Cagayan and Upper regions I've heard. Manaoag is in Pangasinan - one of the Provinces in the north so I already expect some hassles which may even bring us to being stranded. Miraculously, weather was lovely when we arrived. It was cloudy and some drizzles at the start but it actually stopped when the Blessed Virgin's "caroza" went on its way. Edward, Red, Jun, Rui, Jordan and Lawrence were all first timers. We were lucky to have attended the 4PM high mass leading to the procession. I can see the lights on their faces when they saw Her. Most of them were even teary-eyed. We made sure to have a good view of the enthronement of the Virgin to her altar-throne. We all have personal purposes "baon" for being there. But one thing is for sure- We were all Blessed by The Queen, - The Mother of God, our Mother.
