2 weeks ago I was mistaken to be "harassing" my immediate boss, re my date of transfer to other department (remember my first ever blog). To make the long story short, that accusation is not true. My very boss herself attested that I am not her source of stress that day. I was just mistaken to be annoying her to release me the soonest time possible- it was someone else (because some of my colleagues are transferring as well). I was really offended by the term "harass". To harass someone is like to insist to get something which you do not really deserve, by means of unnecessary pressure, harsh words or even violent act. I am not really sure if the person who used that word to describe me really knows me. She has been our "big boss" for 3 years now and so far, I did not have any major problems w/ her until that day when she called me a"harasser". It was just an outburst of emotion- she told me in a text message about an hour after she scolded me both over the phone and personally inside her cubicle. She uttered her apology in that text message.
I remember Jesus being scolded, tortured and accused as a false prophet, a false king, and a betrayer of the Jewish Religion and Faith. As he walked his way to his death, carrying his cross. Until the last breath- he thought of forgiveness. "Father, forgive us- for we know not- what we say.... about each other". Peace to us all.
She's probably having a bad day and U happen to be the person to say 'hello' to her. I'm glad She apologized, even if it was just a txt msg.
ReplyDeleteBy the way, how U doin? Remember me?
