a typical working day and a little inspiration

My typical weekday involves a handful of stressful meetings and deliverables. Just like today. But then lunchtime does not miss to offset these hang-ups. We went to a "mang inasal" branch somewhere near the building. The place is not as comfy compared to its neighboring establishments, but the energy and the smile of the crew members somehow made me agree for us to stay. The food is good. Actually, it's my first to try inasal. Of course, the topic of the lunch "chismisan" session completes the lunch out session. Well nowadays, there's only one favorite topic to discuss during lunchbreaks-what other options do we have aside from staying here (referring to the group where we belong). Yes, most of us have plan of transferring, some are resigning, the most excusable and lucky are those who are pregnant and about to take a long maternity leave soon. Well, there are various reasons. Me, if ever I'm transferring- it's because I want a better SALARY. In short mukhang pera mode ako ngayun (at least aminado). Ok, upon returning from lunch I saw this pic over the internet:

Yeah, it's from Disney's UP. I saw the movie the other weekend. Suddenly I was reminded of what should be the most important thing in life- Pera pa din hahahahahaha!!! Just kidding. There are parts of the movie where I was teary-eyed. The house was left in the middle of a construction site, where big buildings and establishments are soon to rise. In the story, several attempts where made to convince a 78 year old man to sell his house. But the house is full of good and memorable episodes that he and her now dead wife shared together. As such, no amount of money can ever make him give up the place. And so , the thought came back to me upon seeing this picture earlier today. Pera lang ba talagah?? If so then everytime there's a bigger opportunity and greener pasture it's alright to just hop-in and leave everything else behind. There's nothing else to live for. Hmmmm....... well. Now I said let me think about this more deeply. Hehehe... (for now).
