Yesterday was EMANON Male Chorus' (my choir family) 23rd anniversary..Yeheeeyy!! Happy Anniversary Brothers! I went to Galleria early though the intention is for us to attend the 7:00pm mass at the EDSA Shrine- our residence church. Red, Edward, Beo and me went for some Four-Cheese Pizza before the mass. Around 6:40pm Edward- our Musical Director received a call from the Head of the Shrine's Music Ministry and - voila!! We will sing for that mass (7pm). The problem was- we were not prepared. No pieces, no lyric sheets, no midi diskette. Hahaha!! Maybe most of us are adrenalin based creatures... we collaborated and finalized the line up at the wink of an eye! haiissttt... buti na lang it all went well... The priest- who's new to us (because our regular slot is Sundays) gave us a special blessing after the mass.. Maybe he liked our all-A-Capella line up. :) By the way.. what a coincidence- yesterday was also the feast of the exultation of the cross.. indeed What a Blessing!
